Thanks to the Contagious Network, I was given a lovely pass to view Heath Ledgers last film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, that’s right, Batman wasn’t his last (however technically it was his last fully completed film). Heath unfortunately passed away after doing 40% of this film, something which not a lot of people were made aware of.
Before I had even set foot into the cinema, I knew that I was going to be seeing a bizarre film, when I was waiting for people from the previous screening to escape from the theatre, I asked the first two people who walked out (two rather lovely elderly people) what they thought of the film. “We expected it to be weird, but it was weirder than we thought it would be”.
